Rainbow

November 16, 1998 - I made this one because, and I hate to admit it, the early evening darkness is already getting to me and I wanted to create something bright and cheerful. The font used to create the title text is Century Schoolbook (it might be called Century instead of Century Schoolbook), one that most PC users already have on their machines. The title is in 60 pts. and the button text is 24 pts. I applied the BladePro filter to the text in the banner, using the "black glass" preset that comes with the filter. However "black glass" doesn't come as a preset with Super BladePro, the version I use now. I recreated the text buttons on August 14, 2006 using plain black text and then added a glow behind the text to make it stand out.

Remember that in order to use this set, you must adhere to my terms of use. Don't just right-click and save to get this set for your use. Download the zip file that I created for your use. It contains:

A copy of this page with appropriate styles for text and link colors, a style to make regular unordered lists use my bullet graphic, and a few other things. You may use the styles as I have given them to you by inserting them in the head section of each page on your site, or you may separate them into a cascading stylesheet file and link that to each page. (If you use the page I have given you by pasting your content in place of mine, don't forget to change the meta tag information in the head so it is about your web site, not mine.)

Graphics for the background, bar, bullet, and title as well as a blank button and title for you to customize.
A copy of my terms which also includes the address of this web site. I know I downloaded lots of graphics when I was first on the web and then couldn't remember where I got them from in the first place. As long as you keep a copy of the zip file around, you won't have to worry about that.
