Music, Music, Music!

December 9, 1998 - This set is totally different from any of the other sets, in that the buttons were made to be placed in a table. When you do, you will form a piano keyboard and each image can be a link to a different location in your site. I made this set for my father's mother, for whom I was named. My grandmother was an accomplished pianist, and I wanted to create something as beautiful as her music. Maybe I haven't accomplished that, but I did have fun trying. The names of the keyboard button files have numbers added to the end to make it easier to remember the order they need to be placed in. If you have trouble with the table, take a look at the source code for this HTML file (it is included in the zip file) and examine the source code.

My grandmother died in 2002 ag the age of 99. My final memory of her the visit we made to her on her birthday, about a month before her death. Although she wasn't feeling well that day, she got up and played the piano for my son. He still talks about it.

Remember that in order to use this set, you must adhere to my terms of use. Don't just right-click and save to get this set for your use. Download the zip file that I created for your use. It contains:

A copy of this page with appropriate styles for text and link colors, a style to make regular unordered lists use my bullet graphic, and a few other things. You may use the styles as I have given them to you by inserting them in the head section of each page on your site, or you may separate them into a cascading stylesheet file and link that to each page. (If you use the page I have given you by pasting your content in place of mine, don't forget to change the meta tag information in the head so it is about your web site, not mine.)

A copy of my terms which also includes the address of this web site. I know I downloaded lots of graphics when I was first on the web and then couldn't remember where I got them from in the first place. As long as you keep a copy of the zip file around, you won't have to worry about that.
