January 3, 1999 - The border for this set was created as an example for the tutorial Getting a Clean Bevel on Your Bordered Background but I liked it so much, I made the rest of the set. Unlike many of my sets, this one was created purely in PaintShop Pro. No special filters were used, only the buttonize, cutout and drop shadow effects that are part of the application. If you want to see how the border was made, take a look at the tutorial. As an aside, the tutorial teaches you how to make designs with a carved-in look as well. The font used for the buttons is Mistral.

Remember that in order to use this set, you must adhere to my terms of use. Don't just right-click and save to get this set for your use. Download the zip file that I created for your use. It contains:

A copy of this page with appropriate styles for text and link colors, a style to make regular unordered lists use my bullet graphic, and a few other things. You may use the styles as I have given them to you by inserting them in the head section of each page on your site, or you may separate them into a cascading stylesheet file and link that to each page. (If you use the page I have given you by pasting your content in place of mine, don't forget to change the meta tag information in the head so it is about your web site, not mine.)

Graphics for the background, bar, bullet, and title as well as a blank button and title for you to customize.
A copy of my terms which also includes the address of this web site. I know I downloaded lots of graphics when I was first on the web and then couldn't remember where I got them from in the first place. As long as you keep a copy of the zip file around, you won't have to worry about that.
