Emerald
November 16, 1998 - I'm not getting into the habit of creating "gem" sets, but this one is sort of a tribute to Moyra, of Moyra's Web Jewels (a web site that is unfortunately no more) whose beautiful work inspired me to begin creating my own web graphics. Of course, tribute or not, my work can't compare to hers. Moyra is in a class all by herself. I have re-created the buttons and title using the font Piranesi It BT. Actually I think this font goes with the set beter than whatever it was I used in the beginning.
Remember that in order to use this set, you must adhere to my terms of use. Don't just right-click and save to get this set for your use. Download the zip file that I created for your use. It contains:
- A copy of this page with appropriate styles for text and link colors, a style to make regular unordered lists use my bullet graphic, and a few other things. You may use the styles as I have given them to you by inserting them in the head section of each page on your site, or you may separate them into a cascading stylesheet file and link that to each page. (If you use the page I have given you by pasting your content in place of mine, don't forget to change the meta tag information in the head so it is about your web site, not mine.)
- The following buttons are included: About, Back, E-Mail, Guestbook, Home, Links, News, Next, Sign, View, and the IS Web Designs logo.
- Graphics for the background, bar, bullet, and title as well as a blank button and title for you to customize.
- A copy of my terms which also includes the address of this web site. I know I downloaded lots of graphics when I was first on the web and then couldn't remember where I got them from in the first place. As long as you keep a copy of the zip file around, you won't have to worry about that.
